Walk It Like I Talk It AI is the name people use for the AI carpool karaoke trend: four people swapped into the car from Migos’ 2018 Carpool Karaoke episode, rapping the hook of “Walk It Talk It” while the camera cuts between the seats. It spread in late September 2026 after an F1 version was reposted by Lewis Hamilton, and fans have since made UFC, NFL and football versions.
What is the Walk It Like I Talk It AI car trend?
It is a short, 15–30 second clip: an SUV in daylight, four riders, and dashboard cameras cutting between them. The first eight seconds are the hook — four lines of “Walk it like I talk it” — then the start of the first verse. In the AI versions, every rider is replaced: F1 drivers, a team’s players, a friend group, or pets. The camera cuts, the gestures and the audio stay the same, which is why the clips are instantly recognizable.
Where it came from: Migos’ 2018 Carpool Karaoke
The source is the Migos segment of The Late Late Show with James Corden, which aired on November 13, 2018. The ride opened with “Walk It Talk It” (Migos featuring Drake, from Culture II). Corden drove, Quavo sat in the front passenger seat, and Offset and Takeoff sat in the back. The episode later passed 60 million YouTube views, according to press reports.
The AI clips keep that structure: the front passenger leads the song, the driver reacts, and the back seat bounces along.
Walk It Talk It vs Walk It Like I Talk It
Both names are right. “Walk It Talk It” is the song’s official title. “Walk It Like I Talk It” is what the hook says, and it is how most people search for the trend on TikTok (“walk it like i talk it car trend”, “walk it like i talk it car ai tutorial”).
The F1 version that made it go viral
The version that broke out showed four Formula 1 drivers in the car. It was posted by the creator @dan.directed with the caption “F1 Karaoke made with Higgsfield Genjutsu”, and on September 24, 2026, during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, Lewis Hamilton shared it to his Instagram story. F1 outlets including GPFans, MotorBiscuit and Yahoo Sports covered the repost. The full story is on our F1 carpool karaoke AI page.
UFC, NFL and football versions
Fan pages quickly made their own: UFC fighters in the back seat, an NFL team’s quarterback, coach and receivers (a Detroit Lions version passed 95,000 views on TikTok on October 2, 2026), and football squads. They all reuse the same car, the same cuts and the same hook. If you make one, label it as an AI fan edit and don’t present it as real footage.

Is it the real Carpool Karaoke?
No. The AI clips, including the ones made on this site, are not part of the TV show. “Carpool Karaoke” is a trademark of its owner, and neither Carpool Karaoke AI nor the trend’s creators are affiliated with CBS, The Late Late Show, Apple or Migos.
Why the Walk It Like I Talk It AI clips spread so fast
- Four faces, one shot. The wide windshield shot works like a group photo: fans can name every rider instantly.
- Everyone gets tagged. A clip with four people in it is shared by four people.
- The hook is the joke. Serious athletes or your quietest friend mouthing “Walk it like I talk it” is funny on its own.
- It recasts easily. One car and four seats fit any team, friend group or family.
How to make your own Walk It Like I Talk It AI video
The original creators used Higgsfield Genjutsu: a clip of the episode as the reference, plus a character image for each seat. On Carpool Karaoke AI you skip the clip and the prompt — add one photo per seat (one to four riders, people or pets) and get a 15-second video with the original hook lined up, for $9.90 in HD.
