These terms govern your use of Carpool Karaoke AI (“we”, “the service”) at carpoolkaraokeai.org. By creating an account or generating a video you agree to them.
The service
We turn 1–4 photos you upload into an AI-generated video of the car scene from the Walk It Like I Talk It carpool karaoke trend, with the trend’s original audio. Results are produced by third-party AI models and vary; we can’t guarantee a particular look, likeness, motion or lip-sync. There is no free trial.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Your content and permissions
You keep the rights to the photos you upload. You confirm that you own them or have the right to use them, and that your use follows our Acceptable Use Policy. You give us a limited licence to process your photos only to create, store and deliver your videos and keep the service safe.
Fan edits and parody
You may make fan edits or parody videos that feature public figures only if you have the right to use the photos, the video is clearly labeled as AI-generated, and you do not present it as real footage, as an endorsement, or in a way that is sexual, defamatory, harassing or deceptive. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos.
Your videos
Subject to these terms, you may download, share and post the videos you make for personal, non-commercial use. Label them as AI-generated where platforms allow.
Videos include a short excerpt of the trend’s original audio so they match the meme. The music belongs to its rights holders, and including it does not give you any rights to it: don’t use the videos in ads, paid promotions or other commercial content, and follow each platform’s music rules when you post. If a rights holder asks us to, we may remove the audio or a video. Copyright notices can be sent to the address on our Contact page; we act on them within 24 hours.
Credits and payments
Credits are sold as one-time packs through our payment partner and merchant of record, Waffo, which handles billing, taxes and receipts. Prices are shown before checkout. Credits expire 12 months after purchase and have no cash value. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Safety and moderation
We automatically review photos and videos and may block, refuse or remove content, and suspend accounts, that break these terms. Blocked generations are refunded in credits.
Not affiliated
Carpool Karaoke AI is an independent AI video tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by CBS, The Late Late Show, Apple, Migos, Quality Control Music, Formula 1, any league, team or athlete, or the AI model providers we use. “Carpool Karaoke” is a trademark of its owner; names are used only to describe the trend.
Availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”. We may change features, prices or these terms; material changes take effect when posted here. Generated videos are stored for about 14 days — download anything you want to keep.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
